Medication shortages
We’ve received a number of questions regarding the availability of certain GLP-1 medications. This is current as of September 2024.
What we know:

Tirzepatide remains on the FDA’s Drug Shortage List.

Per the FDA, a medication is moved from “Currently in Shortage” status to “Resolved” status only when “all manufacturers are able to meet total national historical demand.” This has not yet happened.

Despite Eli Lilly’s claims that all dosages of Zepbound and Mounjaro are available in all strengths, tirzepatide remains in “Currently in Shortage” status, according to the FDA.

The FDA should be considered the only source of truth on this matter.

Should Tirzepatide go off the shortage list, we expect a grace period of two months for certain compounding pharmacies to finish manufacturing and sales.

How you can take action:

Report to the FDA that you still face challenges sourcing GLP-1 medications by submitting an FDA DSM form.

Your input is crucial to ensuring the FDA understands that this shortage persists.
Autopay updates
Since we aim to process orders as fast as possible, we ask for 2 business days for any order updates (dosing changes and/or address/credit card changes) before your autopay date. You should receive an e-mail reminder 5 days before your next order. Please contact your provider for any dosing questions and orders@theflowwellness.com for any logistic issues such as address or credit card changes. Please note that our phones and email accounts are not monitored after business hours and during weekends.
Unfortunately, we can not expedite orders for higher doses of Tirzepatide since these are delivered directly from the pharmacy. Likewise, we can not guarantee delivery dates since it is out of our control. We continue to provide tracking information as we are able to from the pharmacy. Please email orders@theflowwellness.com if you would like to have your next autopay date adjusted.
