IV Migraine Treatment in Bend, OR

Finally Migraine Treatment That Works For You

Relief Without the ER

Migraines aren’t “just headaches.” For those who suffer from chronic or acute migraines, the pain can be debilitating—accompanied by nausea, light sensitivity, and hours (or even days) of lost productivity. When an attack hits, options are limited: most patients end up in the emergency room, facing long wait times, harsh lighting, overwhelming noise, and expensive bills—all while in severe pain.

At Flow Wellness, we believe there’s a better way.

A Comfortable, Effective Alternative

Our IV migraine treatments offer the same evidence-based medications you’d receive in the ER—delivered in a calm, private environment designed for your comfort.

Here’s why patients choose Flow Wellness for migraine relief:

  • Board-Certified ER Doctor – Our protocols are overseen by an experienced emergency physician who has treated thousands of migraine patients.

  • No Waiting Rooms, No Bright Lights, Noisy Alarms – Relax in a private, quiet space where you can begin treatment right away.

  • Proven Medications – We use the same IV therapies trusted in hospital settings, but without the hassle, cost, or stress of an ER visit

Why IV Therapy for Migraines?

IV therapy delivers medications directly into your bloodstream for rapid relief, bypassing the digestive system (which is often compromised during severe migraines due to nausea or vomiting). This makes IV therapy one of the fastest and most effective ways to stop a migraine in progress and get you back to your life.

IV Migraine Treatment Options at Flow Wellness

  • IV hydration
First line abortive migraine treatment is fluid hydration, most effective when given IV.
  • Compazine (prochlorperazine) + diphenhydramine
One of the most effective IV migraine combinations available. Compazine works by calming migraine-related nausea and brain overactivity, while Benadryl enhances effectiveness and reduces side effects—together providing powerful, lasting relief.

  • Toradol (ketorolac)
A potent IV anti-inflammatory that is significantly more powerful than oral medications like ibuprofen. Toradol helps break the inflammatory cycle that drives migraine pain.

  • Dexamethasone
A long-acting steroid and anti-inflammatory that can reduce pain and help prevent rebound headaches, giving you more migraine-free days.

  • IV Magnesium
Known as a smooth muscle relaxant, IV magnesium helps calm blood vessel spasms linked to migraines, easing both pain and tension
