Peptide Therapy Clinic in Bend, OR, Seattle, WA and telehealth throughout Oregon & Washington.

Support your body’s ability to recover, adapt, and move forward

Your body is constantly repairing, regulating, and adjusting.

Most of the time, you don’t notice it, until something shifts. Recovery takes longer. Energy drops. Progress slows, even when your habits stay the same.

Peptide therapy helps support those processes so your body can respond more effectively, especially when things have started to feel off.

At Flow, that support is built around your goals and guided by a clinician who adjusts your plan over time.

What peptide therapy actually does

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signals in the body. Peptides direct how your body repairs tissue, regulates inflammation, and manages energy.

Over time, those signals can become less effective. That can show up as slower recovery, changes in body composition, disrupted sleep, or lower energy.

Peptide therapy helps reinforce those signals so your body can function more consistently.

Hikers experiencing the benefits of wellness treatments at Flow Wellness

There’s no trial and error here

There’s a lot of information about peptides online, but most of it lacks context.

At Flow, peptide therapy is part of a structured plan. You’re working with a clinician who understands what you’re trying to improve, tracks how your body responds, and adjusts your treatment as needed.

That might mean changing your protocol, simplifying your plan, or adding support where it makes sense. The goal is to move forward with intention, not guesswork.

Tracking progress in a more meaningful way

Progress doesn’t always show up on the scale.

That’s why we use body composition scans in our Bend and Seattle clinics.

These scans measure body fat, skeletal muscle mass, and visceral fat—the type of fat stored around your organs that’s closely linked to metabolic health.

It gives a clearer picture of what’s changing and helps guide how your plan evolves.

How peptide therapy can help you

Improved Energy, Sleep, and Performance

The Benefits of Growth Hormone Support

Supporting your body’s natural growth hormone production can unlock a wide range of benefits — from better sleep and faster recovery to increased energy, improved metabolism, and lean muscle preservation. Growth hormone support also helps stimulate collagen production for healthier skin, promotes fat metabolism, and enhances overall vitality. At Flow Wellness, our peptide therapies like Sermorelin and other growth hormone analogs are designed to work with your body’s natural rhythms, helping you feel stronger, look younger, and perform at your best.

Recovery from Injury

  1. Tendon Injuries
    • Rotator cuff strains or partial tears
    • Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
    • Patellar tendonitis
    • Achilles tendon irritation
    • Tendons have relatively poor blood supply, so peptides that support vascular growth and collagen repair are of particular interest.
  2. Ligament Sprains & Joint and Cartilage Irritation
    • Ankle sprains
      MCL or minor ligament injuries
    • Meniscus irritation
    • Early cartilage wear
    • Chronic joint inflammation

Metabolic & Body Composition Support

Peptides that support reducing visceral fat and preserving lean mass.

Tesamorelin is an advanced peptide therapy that supports targeted fat metabolism and healthy growth hormone signaling. It works by stimulating your body’s natural growth hormone release, with a unique benefit of helping reduce visceral (deep abdominal) fat while supporting lean muscle, metabolic health, and overall body composition. Many patients notice improved strength, recovery, and a more toned midsection over time—without overstimulating the system.

Energy

NAD+ Fuel for Your Cells, Support for Your Health

NAD⁺ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a powerful coenzyme found in every cell of your body.  Unfortunately, NAD⁺ levels naturally decline with age, leaving you with less energy, slower recovery, and more susceptibility to fatigue and brain fog.

NAD⁺ supplementation supports:

  • Boosted Energy & Vitality
  • Sharper Mental Clarity
  • Enhanced Metabolism
  • Healthy Aging Support
  • Faster Recovery

At Flow Wellness, we customize NAD⁺ therapy to your goals, whether you’re looking for an energizing IV drip at our Bend clinic, quick injection for home use, or daily oral option for ease of use.

Peptide FAQs

Peptide therapy uses short chains of amino acids that help support communication within the body. Certain peptides may help support recovery, muscle maintenance, metabolism, healthy aging, skin health, sleep, or overall wellness depending on the peptide selected and your health goals.

At Flow Wellness, peptide therapy is approached as part of a personalized wellness plan rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Peptides are commonly used to support:

  • Recovery from exercise or injury
  • Healthy aging and longevity
  • Muscle maintenance and body composition
  • Metabolic health and weight management
  • Skin and hair support
  • Sleep and recovery
  • Energy and performance
  • Joint and connective tissue support

Different peptides have different intended purposes, which is why medical guidance matters. Flow Wellness offers peptide consultations for expert advice.

Peptides act as signaling molecules in the body. They interact with receptors to help support specific physiologic processes such as growth hormone signaling, tissue repair, collagen production, metabolism, or inflammation regulation.

The goal of peptide therapy at Flow Wellness is to help optimize how the body functions while supporting long-term wellness and recovery.

Peptide therapy should always be guided by a licensed medical provider.

At Flow Wellness, peptides are prescribed only after reviewing your health history, symptoms, goals, medications, and potential risks. We use U.S.-licensed compounding pharmacies and individualized treatment plans designed around safety and monitoring.

Peptides are not FDA-approved for wellness or longevity purposes, and uses are considered off-label.

Peptide availability at Flow Wellness changes over time based on pharmacy supply and regulations, but common categories may include peptides that support:

  • Recovery and tissue support
  • Metabolism and body composition
  • Growth hormone signaling
  • Skin and hair wellness
  • Energy and mitochondrial support
  • Sleep and recovery
  • Longevity and healthy aging

Your clinician will help determine whether peptide therapy is appropriate for your goals.

Some peptide medications are FDA approved for specific medical conditions, while wellness-related peptide uses are considered off-label.

At Flow Wellness, we believe in transparent conversations about peptide therapy, including discussing evidence, safety considerations, expected benefits, and limitations.

Medical peptide therapy involves:

  • Licensed medical providers
  • U.S.-based compounding pharmacies
  • Prescription oversight
  • Quality standards and monitoring
  • Personalized dosing and follow-up

Grey market peptides are sold online without medical oversight, pharmacy regulation, or quality verification.

At Flow Wellness, patient safety, transparency, and clinician-guided care remain the priority.

Some peptides may support metabolism, appetite regulation, body composition, muscle preservation, or recovery during weight loss efforts. GLP-1s are peptides and are very effective for weight loss.

Peptides are not a substitute for nutrition, movement, sleep, or healthy lifestyle habits, but they may help support a comprehensive wellness plan.

Flow Wellness commonly combines wellness strategies such as body composition monitoring, nutrition guidance, and clinician oversight alongside peptide therapy.

Certain peptides such as growth hormone analogs (sermorelin, tesamorelin, among others) are commonly used to support:

  • Exercise recovery
  • Muscle maintenance
  • Connective tissue support
  • Recovery after repetitive strain
  • Performance and training goals

Results vary based on the peptide selected, lifestyle habits, nutrition, sleep, and consistency.

Patients commonly ask about peptide therapy for:

  • Recovery support
  • Healthy aging
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Body composition goals
  • Muscle maintenance
  • Sleep optimization
  • Skin and hair wellness
  • Joint discomfort
  • Recovery after exercise

A medical evaluation helps determine whether peptide therapy is appropriate for your situation.

The timeline varies depending on the peptide and treatment goals.

Some patients notice changes in recovery, sleep, or energy within several weeks, while body composition, skin, hair, or long-term wellness goals may take longer.

Consistency and ongoing follow-up are important parts of peptide therapy.

Yes. At Flow Wellness, peptide therapy plans are individualized based on:

  • Symptoms
  • Goals
  • Health history
  • Lifestyle
  • Body composition

Treatment plans may change over time depending on progress and response.

At Flow Wellness we recommend but do not require lab evaluation to track safety and monitor response to therapy. Labs may help evaluate areas such as:

  • Hormones
  • Metabolic health
  • Inflammation markers
  • Cardiovascular status
  • Overall wellness

Your clinician will determine what testing is appropriate.

Yes at our Bend, OR and Seattle, WA clinics. Flow Wellness offers body composition scanning to help monitor:

  • Muscle mass
  • Body fat percentage
  • Visceral fat
  • Biologic age and body wellness index

A baseline measurement gives direction for improvement and repeat scans track progress towards your health and wellness goals.

Peptide therapy at Flow Wellness may be incorporated into a broader wellness plan that includes:

Your provider will help determine what combination is appropriate for your goals and medical history.

Flow Wellness provides peptide therapy consultations in:

  • Bend, Oregon at our Old Mill clinic
  • Seattle, Washington at South Lake Union clinic

Telehealth & virtual visits also available in Oregon & Washington.

Peptide therapy is not appropriate for every patient.

At Flow Wellness, peptide therapy is prescribed only after reviewing your medical history, medications, symptoms, goals, and potential risks to determine whether treatment is appropriate. Certain individuals may need to avoid specific peptides or use caution, including patients with:

  • Active cancer or certain cancer histories
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Severe cardiovascular disease
  • Significant liver or kidney disease
  • History of allergic reactions to peptide ingredients

Suitability depends on the specific peptide and your overall health profile.

Peptide therapy at Flow Wellness starts at $149/month for certified peptides from US based compounding pharmacies. Peptide “stacks” which are peptide combinations are more expensive.

Peptides are easily broken down by stomach acid so swallowing peptides is not effective. Peptides may be taken in several forms depending on the specific peptide and treatment goals, including:

  • Subcutaneous injections (tiny needle into the stomach)
  • Oral troches (dissolve under tongue or in the cheek)
  • Topical creams or foams
  • Nasal sprays

At Flow Wellness, your clinician will review the appropriate route, dosing schedule, and instructions for your specific treatment plan. Proper dosing is essential for safety and effectiveness.

How do I get started with peptide therapy?

The first step is a consultation with a licensed medical provider.

Your visit typically includes:

  • Health history review
  • Discussion of symptoms and goals
  • Wellness recommendations
  • Body composition analysis
  • Lab recommendations if appropriate
  • Discussion of peptide options and safety considerations

Transcript of Peptide Overview by Kevin Jones, MD

Let’s talk about peptides. Who hasn’t heard about peptides? They’ve become really well known with the GLP-1 medications. Those are peptides. And now the Internet, social media, your neighbor – everyone is taking additional peptides. Well, what are those? How can they help? Well, peptides help with targeted specific functions within the body.

And they’re part of what we call Medicine 3.0. And medicine 3.0 is really focused on individualized care, Longevity. And focusing on symptoms that improve your health span, not just making you live longer, but living healthier. Medicine 1.0,  is back when you’re just observing things using herbal remedies, leeches, stuff like that.

Medicine 2.0 is the era that we’ve been in right now, which is excellent at treating disease as it develops. So if you get diabetes, we have treatments for it. If you get cancer, we have treatments for it. Of course, it’s not perfect. Medicine 3.0 is what can we do to prevent these things from happening? How do we prevent diabetes?

How do we prevent cancer? How do we prevent dementia? Peptides play a role in that. They’re, of course, not a perfect fix, however. That’s what we’re going to talk about today and give you some info about what peptides can do, how they can help and what they’re focused on. Well, who benefits from peptides?

Mainly people. As we get older, you know, we slow down our performance. Athletic performance goes down, our recovery takes longer, Injuries take longer to recover from. We want our skin to look healthy. We want to look like we did when we were 20. Well, we can work towards that.

Of course, we can’t get there completely, but peptides can play an important role in that. What peptides are, are short chains of, amino acids. Long chains of amino acids are proteins. We have both in our body. These short chains, however, are, Are like specific messages that get sent to cells.

Peptides are designed to supplement what your body naturally produces, not not replace them. This is different than taking hormones such as testosterone or estrogen have important roles in the body. However, peptides are very specific. The advantage of this is that you can go on peptides and go off of them.

You typically don’t have to monitor levels, though we do recommend checking some  basic blood tests before starting peptide therapy. You can think of peptides as text messages that get sent from & to specific parts of your body to activate certain pathways.

Now, those pathways could be focused on recovery, could be focused on performance, could be focused on skin health. Think of peptides as a more targeted physiologic approach to health optimization. Now, the categories of peptides. Well, I mentioned GLP-1s for weight loss.

Very popular. Revolutionary. Honestly, I think it’s one of the most important drugs to ever come out. We finally have a cure to fix obesity, which leads to cancer, heart disease, stroke, you name it. It’s amazing. newer peptides, the ones at least are getting more popular in the news, have different focuses.

You know, when you exercise you’re tearing muscle fibers, recovering those and getting stronger. Other peptides are geared towards performance. These would be things like sermorelin. These peptides help your body produce growth hormone, which allows your body to recover faster.

That’s when you know, you think of a 14 year old who breaks a bone, they’re back running around in two or three weeks, they feel great. However, most people in this room break a bone, you’re out for two or three months. That recovery process is growth hormone mediated. Growth hormone allows your body to recover faster.

Peptides tell your brain to produce more growth hormone. They don’t replace it, just add to what you’re naturally producing. Added benefits of growth hormone production are often improved sleep. More energy at the gym and just overall feeling better, more energized during the day.

Another peptide is called tesamorelin. That’s Fda approved to promote visceral fat loss in HIV patients. Used off label for healthy patients. But that’s a very good peptide to help decrease the visceral fat, around our intestines/insides that can lead to heart disease and stroke.

Another common peptide that you’ll hear about in the news, especially with celebrities, is the beauty peptides. It’s a copper peptide that’s used in collagen production, skin and hair formation. Gives you that youthful appearance.

Now, how are peptides used? Because they’re amino acids. That’s what your stomach breaks down. Like when you eat meat, you’re eating proteins, which are amino acids. So we have to bypass the stomach. For peptides to be effective. That can be done mainly in two ways. Peptides can be done or taken as.

Either a troche, which dissolves underneath the tongue. But to be most effective, peptides need to be injected. That’s the GLP-1s, like the once a week shot, so very tiny needle. Some people have a lot of concerns about this. We’ve treated thousands of patients at our clinic with peptides. And once you do it once, it’s really easy.

It’s not that big a deal. But it does for most peptides involve an injection or at least a troche to take. Now, peptides, it’s important to note, Except for the GLP1s, are not FDA approved for the conditions that I’m talking about. Peptides are used off label.

Meaning that there’s limited study data. And this is always going to be the case because these medications are naturally occurring and have been around for decades. There’s no drug company that can patent these medications and make a lot of money off of it. That’s how, modern pharmaceuticals work, and it’s not going to happen with peptides.

So we’re never going to have these giant studies that show lots of safety. What we do have is a lot of anecdotal use. I mean, they’ve been around for decades finding good improvements and, And the FDA is looking at these. Some peptides are currently on a do not compound list. The peptides are made at compounding pharmacies because they’re very specific.

And with recent regulation changes. You may have heard about this in news. Some peptides will likely be added back to a list that’s allowed to be compounded. There are pharmacies that make variations of peptides, so you can basically get what you want. Right now, what we don’t recommend doing is buying off, Black market Internet sites because the quality can vary.

People can get really sick from that. We do recommend that you go see a healthcare provider. Talk about what you’re looking for. They can go over the risks and benefits. They can go over the dosing, any labs that you might want to monitor and just check on your progress. It’s well worth the money to spend time to do peptides correctly and safely.

After all, this is your body and you get what you pay for. So who can benefit from peptides? They’re mainly geared for people who just want to live life better. Maybe you need more energy to get through the day, or have a better workout or train for a race. Maybe you have a chronic injury that isn’t getting better.

For instance, I had tennis elbow for a year from. Exercising too hard, Basically, I’ve been to physical therapy. You know, modify my exercise routine. Nothing was getting better. I did a month of recovery peptide and that pain went away, and it’s been gone since. Now, of course, your mileage may vary. Not everyone has these sort of benefits, but this is what we’re hearing from our patients.

In summary, peptides are geared towards health optimization. So we’re basically trying to get you where you want to be in a personalized, individual way with medications that supplement what your natural body produces. This is about helping you feel strong, capable, and resilient over time and live the best life that you have while you’re here.

Benefits of peptides have not been evaluated by the FDA. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Peptides must be obtained with a prescription by a licensed medical provider.
